In “BINOM” (BLOW UP PRESS, 2026), artist Nata Drachinskaya explores the life of her father, who worked as a cryptographer for more than twenty-five years, uncovering an unknown part of his past following his suicide in 2001. Drawing on family photographs, slides, official documents and her own images, she reconstructs a life shaped by secrecy. Structured as two interconnected volumes, the book examines family memory, archives and identity. The project received the LUMA Rencontres Dummy Book Award in 2025.
