In Meanwhile (Mörel, 2026), photographer Roger Eberhard examines how our understanding of history is constructed. Taking twelve major events from the past three centuries, selected by photographers, researchers and thinkers, he combines archival images with contemporary photographs to reveal what was happening simultaneously elsewhere in the world. The book presents history through parallel narratives rather than a single linear chronology.
