In the mom/artist notebook pt. I (Art Paper Editions, 2026), photographer Herlinde Raeman examines the relationship between motherhood and artistic practice. She invites three friends, all artists and mothers, to respond to questions in a notebook while photographing the repetitive routines of everyday life. Bringing together images and shared reflections, the book considers how time is divided between caring for others and making art.
