Oje oje foregrounds writing as both a technology and a means of negotiating power, history, and collective trauma. Focusing on cuneiform—the oldest known writing system—and the Epic of Gilgamesh, the exhibition traces how stories endure through catastrophe, carrying traces of power, destruction, and mortality across millennia.
In his works, Johannes Raimann explores how images and information are created, stored, and transmitted. Working primarily with photography, he engages with information technologies to reflect upon how they both shape and reflect societal and political structures.
