Marin Driguez : Ce Qui Demeure

Le Musée de la Photographie
Avenue Paul Pastur 11
6032 Charleroi
Belgium

The meeting between photographer Marin Driguez and Marcela Lobo Bustamante, spiritual care specialist at the Grand Hôpital de Charleroi, led to the project “Spiritual Care and the Humanisation of Healthcare.” For nearly six months, Driguez documented the hospital’s departments, continuing a practice begun in 2018 in several Brussels hospitals.

Through a visual sociology approach, he explores relationships, presence and attention to others at the heart of care. His images reveal what remains human within hospital practices, beyond institutional constraints and medical demands: gestures, acts of attention and the bonds between caregivers and patients.

Born in 1999, Marin Driguez lives and works between Brussels and Paris. A member of Agence VU’ since 2022, he develops long-term documentary projects. His work Prendre soin led to an exhibition and a book published by Gallimard in 2025.
