In her first solo exhibition at Galerie Gisela Clement in Bonn, Judith Samen presents photographic works and installations created between 2000 and 2025. The exhibition includes new works produced during her two-month residency at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris in 2025, shown for the first time. Also featured is the multi-part work Bunker (2025), which explores place and memory through the interior of a historic shelter bunker in Wuppertal. The exhibition reunites her earliest works, Lehrbild der Fauna and Lehrbild der Flora (both 2000), highlighting the combination of photography and drawing that characterizes her practice.
