Once We Existed

Once We Existed brings together two generations of artists around the passage of time and what remains of lived experience. Through a selection of works by Pieter Laurens Mol (Netherlands, 1946) and Laía Argüelles Folch (Spain, 1986), the exhibition explores the forces that shape human existence in relation to the fleeting nature of life. Although forty years separate the artists, their practices converge in a shared attention to traces left by decisions, presences, and absences. The exhibition inaugurates Chiquita Room's new space in Brussels as a place where time, memory, and artistic dialogue generate new resonances.
