There is No Pink: Group show

Zirkstraat 20
2000 Antwerp
Belgium

Every work in this exhibition contains pink. None of them contains pink.

Pink has no wavelength. It exists nowhere in the visible spectrum. Unlike red, green or violet, there is no single frequency of light that the eye perceives as pink. It is a colour the brain invents.

This exhibition is therefore organised around an absence. The works appear to share a colour, yet what they
truly share is a perceptual event. Pink is not a material fact but a collaboration between light, object and
viewer.
