SKY'S THE LIMIT

To inaugurate its new pop-up space in Brussels, Galerie Bacqueville presents "Sky's the limit", a solo exhibition by David De Beyter, a major figure in contemporary French photography, whose work explores the intersections between documentary observation, anthropology and the construction of collective imaginaries.

For several years, De Beyter has been developing The Skeptics , a vast research project dedicated to scientific ufology—a community of enthusiasts who, far removed from sensationalist narratives, seek to study unexplained aerial phenomena through rigorous observation and a rational approach. Rather than focusing on the question of the existence of UFOs, the artist examines belief systems, methods of observation, and how images both shape and challenge contemporary mythologies.
