Born in 1987 to a Japanese mother and a French father, Cécile Poimboeuf-Koizumi grew up between several cultures and spent her early years in Tokyo — a city that remains at the heart of her imagination and identity. After years of being asked to recommend where to go, eat, stay or walk around Tokyo, she decided to invite artists to answer this question themselves.
