A major survey of photographer Mimi Plumb (American, born 1953), bringing together three key bodies of work that examine climate change, capitalism, militarization, and the psychological impact of contemporary American life. Working primarily in and around San Francisco, Plumb documents the human-altered landscape of the American West through raw black-and-white photography. The exhibition includes The White Sky (1972–1978), Landfall and The Golden City (1984–2020), and The Reservoir (2021–2025), tracing decades of environmental and social transformation while exploring themes of anxiety, resilience, and cultural change. Organized by the High Museum of Art, Atlanta.
