Dream Within a Dream

Zen Foto Gallery Paris presents Dream Within a Dream, a solo exhibition by Masakazu Murakami, from October 24 to December 19, 2026. The first exhibition at our new Paris location, it features 8 works selected from negatives made since around 2000, marking Murakami’s Paris debut. The show follows the publication of his latest photobook by Zen Foto Gallery in October 2025.

Peculiar signboards, drifting gazes, the sky, sunlight and silhouettes… With blurred vision and muffled hearing, as if submerged underwater, these photographs evoke peering into someone else’s daydream.

A talk with photography critic Kenji Takazawa will take place on November 12, 8:30–9:30 p.m.
