Presented at Quai de la Photo, TEENAGE DREAM is an exhibition by Lee Shulman featuring photographs from The Anonymous Project. Gathering a selection of anonymous amateur photographs displayed throughout the art center in multiple formats, the exhibition immerses visitors in memories of a generation that experienced the emergence of adolescence as a distinct identity. Through images of friendships, graduations, parties, first romances, sporting achievements, and aspirations for independence, the exhibition explores the emotional complexity of youth. Revisiting vernacular archives, Shulman offers an intimate portrait of adolescence that emphasizes everyday experiences, nostalgia, transformation, and the universal memories that shape adult life. Free admission.
