Metamorphosis. States of Change
How can change be made visible?
The exhibition “Metamorphosis. States of Change” brings together seven emerging artists from Germany who explore, through photography, the political, cultural, ecological and digital transformations of our time. Students of visual journalism and documentary photography at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hanover, they examine crises, turning points and the evolving dynamics of societies and ecosystems.
Nora Schwarz documents the disappearance of Europe’s ancient northern forests, Jonathan Funk explores social and political tensions in Germany, and Ludwig Nikulski focuses on new fractures emerging along Europe’s borders. The exhibition invites visitors to understand change as a continuous process of transition, uncertainty and renewal.
As part of the 60th anniversary of the Goethe-Institut Lyon.
