The Music is Black: A British Story celebrates 125 years of Black music-making in Britain. Spanning four continents, the exhibition explores stories of excellence, struggle, resilience and joy through an immersive sound experience. Visitors travel through time with more than 120 tracks playing directly through a headset, discovering the power and impact of Black British music across generations. More than an exhibition, it offers a rich exploration of music, identity and cultural influence.
