ASORKPOR is a visual exploration of the musical vibration that shapes the streets of Jamestown, Accra. Through sequences of black-and-white street portraits, Sean Kweifio-Okai traces how this energy is embodied through gesture and movement, shaping collective identity through shared musical experience. Kweifio-Okai’s practice focuses on African diasporic and urban experiences, developed through long-term photographic engagement with the people and subcultures that shape the city.
