Robert Capa helped define the image of the war photographer: camera in hand, focused on capturing events as they unfolded. His engaged approach left a lasting mark on photojournalism and shaped the modern role of the war photographer.
The Museum of the Liberation of Paris, in collaboration with Magnum Photos, presents a contextualized reading of his work. More than sixty vintage press prints are displayed alongside magazines, books, documents, and personal belongings. Together, these 160 items trace the journey of a young Hungarian immigrant who became an influential figure in modern photography.
