Like almost no other art form, photography draws on the myths of its origins—its background as an illegitimate child born of the lowly milieu of fairground arts, technology, and science. In a conversation with the artists Isabelle Le Minh (France) and Nozomi Suzuki (Japan), we explore the fascination of this history as a catalyst for new art, especially in these times of new technological upheavals.
