Davide Tranchina. Light-years Away

From 17 October 2026 to 6 January 2027, CAMERA’s Project Room will host Davide Tranchina. Light-years Away, a solo exhibition dedicated to one of the most influential figures in contemporary Italian photography. Curated by Walter Guadagnini in collaboration with Galleria Studio G7 in Bologna, the exhibition traces over twenty years of the Bolognese artist’s practice. Through selected works, it explores the photographic image, its construction, and the complex relationship between photography and reality. A generation shaped by the transition from analogue to digital, Tranchina challenges the boundaries between reality, perception and representation. The exhibition culminates in a new work created specifically for the Project Room and is accompanied by a catalogue published by Dario Cimorelli Editore.
