The First Bauhaus Portfolio

This exhibition presents a selection of works from the Bauhaus School’s first printed portfolio, published in 1922 and part of the Dallas Museum of Art’s collection for over 20 years. Founded in 1919, the revolutionary school made its printing workshop its first fully operational department, led by artist Lyonel Feininger. In 1921, the workshop launched its first portfolio to introduce the work of the Bauhaus to a wider audience unfamiliar with its innovative approach.
The First Bauhaus Portfolio is organized by the Dallas Museum of Art.
