Lake Effect: Artists from Cleveland Now

Lake Effect: Artists from Cleveland Now celebrates the Cleveland Museum of Art’s 110th anniversary by highlighting the vitality of contemporary art across Northeast Ohio. Following an open call that received 1,700 submissions from 950 artists, a jury selected 66 artworks for the exhibition. Inspired by the museum’s historic May Show, the exhibition celebrates the region’s artistic heritage while presenting diverse contemporary voices. The selected works explore local histories, global influences and the unique cultural landscape of Northeast Ohio, offering a vision for the region’s artistic future.
