Adorning Ritual: Jewish Ceremonial Art from the Jewish Museum, New York

The Cleveland Museum of Art presents a selection of works on loan from the Jewish Museum in New York across six galleries, enriching its permanent collection and highlighting the stories and cultures of Jewish communities. Most works are ritual objects connected to Judaism and Jewish life, including silver Torah finials and a marble panel commemorating a marriage. Displayed alongside works from the same periods or regions, these objects offer broader historical and cultural perspectives.
