37, quai Branly

75007 Paris

After having conquered London, New York, Portland, Chicago, Melbourne, and Montreal, the exhibition Africa Fashion, designed by London’s Victoria and Albert Museum, arrives in Paris. It offers a dialogue between the leading contemporary African fashion designers and the rich historical collections of the Musée du quai Branly – Jacques Chirac.
Africa Fashion presents African fashion as a form of art that defines itself while revealing the richness and diversity of African stories and cultures. For the occasion, the museum highlights its collection of African textiles, accessories, and jewelry, as well as a selection of photographs drawn from its archives and collected from the public.
