Indochina, monsoon, wetness, beauty of the Mekong and dangers of the night ... the stories of the grandparents of the artist photographer FLORE, who lived at the same time and in the same places as Marguerite Duras, bathed her childhood in floods. mysteries which today nourish a common imagination between her and the writer. After "Lointains souvenirs", her first series about Marguerite Duras’s adolescence, FLORE continues to "photographically invent" a mythical Indochina. Here, she offers a journey through time and enlarges the world of unsuspected spaces, by capturing something that did not necessarily exist but of which we accept the postulate, this life which would have been lived almost 100 years ago and that Marguerite Duras tells in his books.
