For the first time, the Palais de la Porte Dorée is hosting an unprecedented exhibition that takes in the entire Palais, from its historic spaces to the Musée national de l'histoire de l'immigration and the Aquarium tropical. 200 artistic, historical and testimonial views explore memory, invisibility and anonymity, rediscovering faces and telling stories. Chaque vie est une histoire begins with an artistic and poetic stroll through a series of monumental works inspired by the Palais de la Porte Dorée and its inhabitants. At the invitation of Jean de Loisy, 13 international artists take over the Palais' historic spaces, inventing in situ creations that retrace its memory and reveal the monument in a new light.
