The exhibition seeks to capture the creative dynamic of a work whose singularity is built through a plurality of resources drawn from heterogeneous, artistic, cultural, political and poetic spheres.
By shifting his sculpting activities to the realm of photography, Thierry Fontaine has developed a hybrid and nomadic work. Using an extensive range of devices, Fontaine attempts to convey an experience of the world’s diversity as well as the exchange between eclectic, sometimes contradictory registers. His photographs express an active, polyphonic, worldly approach that is both plural and singular.
