09/27/2017 - 03/04/2018
Musée d'Art et d'Histoire du Judaïsme
Hôtel de Saint-Aignan, 71 Rue du Temple
75003 Paris
To commemorate 40 years since the death of René Goscinny, the mahJ, in partnership with the Institut René Goscinny, is presenting the first retrospective dedicated to the co-creator of Asterix and Little Nicholas. The exhibition is a compilation of over 200 works, including original plates and storyboards and a large collection of unseen documents from Goscinny's personal archives. It shines a light on the creative genius of a man who gave French culture one of its finest cultural revolutions and who catapulted the comic strip from the status of children's publication to ninth art'.
