This new exhibition brings together excerpts from four series: UN PÁJARO DE PIEDRA (2023), IMAGOMETRÍA CELESTIAL (2021), MÖBIUS II (2019), KŌAN El Sol (2016).
All share the same poetic imagery, which is sensitive, enigmatic, and imbued with spirituality, served by a formal creativity that makes each of Luis González Palma's works a uniquely beautiful object. The title, kōan, borrowed from one of these series, is a Japanese term: in Zen practice, it refers to an enigmatic question that does not call for a logical answer but destabilizes reason in an attempt to lead it towards enlightenment.
