Conceived by Daidō Moriyama and Shōmei Tōmatsu themselves, this historical exhibition of these two masters of Japanese photography never seen the light of day following the death, in 2012, of Tōmatsu. Today, the MEP makes this dream shared by the two photographer friends, a reality. Through a broad panorama of their work, the exhibition contrasts their fascination for the Japanese capital that they have spent decades capturing and offers a comprehensive and coherent journey through their works.
