L'ATLAS GALERIE DES MONDES
This fall, L’Atlas invites the association Portes ouvertes sur l’art, whose mission is to promote artists in exile to professionals, collectors and partners in the art world in France, in a spirit of openness and research. Exploring the undefined space of exile, the exhibition will bring together artists whose visual practices reveal and question this psychic territory of displacement. Palestinian director Kamal Aljafari will present the installation Camera of the Dispossessed (2023) for the first time in Europe, and Anna Jermolaewa, an artist exiled from Russia, will present Rehearsal for Swan Lake (2024) for the first time since its release at the 2024 Venice Biennale. The exhibition is curated by Allyn Aglaïa and Julien Frydman.
