The National Picasso Museum in Paris will present an exhibition dedicated to Henry Taylor, one of the major figures in contemporary American painting. This exhibition, designed in collaboration with the artist himself, will encompass his entire artistic career while continuing the exploration of Pablo Picasso’s reception in the American scene — following the exhibitions dedicated to Faith Ringgold (2023), Jackson Pollock (2024), or Philip Guston (2025), and preceding the major retrospective devoted to the Harlem Renaissance movement (Spring 2027). The exhibition, spread over two floors and thirteen rooms, brings together around a hundred works — including paintings, sculptures, and installations — through which Henry Taylor explores the richness and complexity of the human experience.
This exhibition at the National Picasso Museum in Paris is the artist's first retrospective in France.
