Through art films and archives, documentaries shot during the artist's lifetime, press footage and sound material, the artist appears in motion, presenting the different facets of his life and work: a family man and a creative genius, a Mediterranean hedonist and a tireless labourer, a cheerful character and a faithful friend... The artist himself, through these films, is thus placed at the heart of the exhibition, which is set to the rhythm of the audio-visual extracts. Works from the collection are presented alongside these moving images, as an echo to each of the projections.
