The Art of James Cameron shows how the key themes and motifs of his work evolved from his earliest sketches in the pages of his childhood sketchbooks, to their ultimate expression in iconic cinematic shots. The exhibition highlights this remarkable creative path by bringing together carefully selected treasures from the director's personal archives: his earliest sketches, preparatory drawings for films that were never made, and concept art that forms the foundation of his critically acclaimed oeuvre. Alongside hundreds of drawings and paintings, the exhibition features props, costumes, photos and interactive technologies developed or adapted by Cameron himself, for he is a renowned innovator in many disciplines.
