HORS CADRE
43 rue de la Commune
93230 Romainville
Lucile Boiron has turned her camera into a tool for dissecting reality. She uses it, first and foremost, to examine the female body through its various ages, and to question the way in which its idealization and putrid dissolution are shaped.
For the “Bouche” exhibition at Galerie Hors-Cadre, the artist continues her work on the terrifying and edible beauties offered by the body and organic objects in her familiar environment, in an increasingly sculptural dimension. The artist uses glass to create eccentric forms that obliterate the very surface of her photographic close-ups.
