Exactly 50 years ago, on June 10, 1975, Agathe Gaillard opened the first gallery dedicated solely to photography in Paris, with the support of her husband Jean-Philippe Charbonnier and her photographer friends. Thanks to her passion for the medium, her sure taste, and her unwavering support for photographers, she worked tirelessly to promote greater artistic recognition for photography. She also made 3 rue du Pont Louis-Philippe a legendary venue for photography enthusiasts.
