This solo exhibition will combine "Mother Island," "Journey," and "Reflected River," showcasing the artist's ongoing exploration of the interplay between "snatching and narrative," and "chance and experimentation." Preferring to remain intrusive, her photography primarily focuses on capturing family and distant landscapes. Since she began photographing, her archive has amassed a vast collection of unstructured images from various times and places. Through these elements, she reveals how, as a traveler from Taiwan, she constantly interrogates and gazes between home, country, and the world. This inability to find a complete answer has become a lifelong obsession.
