Blitz Club Blitz Kids is a series of images taken in 1980 by photographer Homer Sykes at the famous London club, the Blitz Club. In the 1970s, London was going through a serious economic crisis. Steve Strange and Rusty Eagan founded "Bowie Nights" at the Blitz Club, a sordid basement club in Soho, where Steve, adamant about entry, allowed only "strange and wonderful people"—to the point of turning away Mick Jagger.
