Tokihiro Sato has pioneered original photographic expression, exploring themes such as light, time, space, and the body, utilizing unique techniques such as pinhole cameras, camera obscura, and long exposures.
This exhibition will feature "City Scapes," a series from Sato's signature "Light-Breath" series, created using architectural and urban settings. The exhibition will focus on works in which Sato used long exposures in the dark to capture the light trails of a penlight he held in his hand, as well as works created using sunlight reflected mirrors.
