Günther Förg (1952-2013) is a major German artist of the 20th century, a photographer, particularly of architecture, and a painter, as well as a ceramist and sculptor. His prolific work has been exhibited in prestigious institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco, the Musée d'Art Moderne in Paris and the Museo Reina Sofia in Madrid.
