Experimenting at the crossroads of disciplines and recalling along the way the privileged status of photography in the history of science is one of the driving forces of this exhibition, where photography, neuroscience, mathematics, and artificial intelligence engage in dialogue. Starting from the notion of latent space, photographer Marina Gadonneix (ENSPA 2002, winner of HSBC Prize 2006 and Niépce Prize 2020) and artificial intelligence scientist Victor Rambaud, also a researcher in cognitive sciences and at Polytechnique, present possible representations of the mind and open a stimulating reflection on the status of the image.
