The exhibition features a series of more than 50 gelatin silver prints Imasaka created from negatives made last year in Japan during New York City’s lockdown. The series explores a bird's-eye view of a deep mountain forest in northern Japan, all shot at the same location. A spectrum of blue and green shades, like a paintbrush for a painter, expresses his emotional state corresponding nature’s untamed and transient appearance.
