In these turbulent and rather morose times, asking this question seems to us to launch a deep but cheerful debate. The lightness of a question does not exclude its importance. Indeed in a time when travel, exoticism and mass tourism dominate, asking it, not to know which destination to take but what this holiday means for us, is not insignificant. Today summer is no longer one of the four seasons, it is above all holidays, travel, and the tourist economy. This programmed euphoria is undoubtedly the symptom of a desperate expectation of freedom and return to oneself, we are very curious to know how for the photographers of the gallery the summer is lived.
