Une seconde d’éternité brings together some artists whose works are able to generate a space-time. The exhibition explores the polysemy of the present, a suspended, fleeting time, inhabited by spectral presences, crossed by the theme of absence and incarnation. It is a question, as in the words of Charles Baudelaire, of seizing "in a second the infinity of enjoyment" and of contemplation. Echo2, the work imagined by Philippe Parreno for the Rotunda of the Bourse de Commerce will have given way to the nocturnal and cosmic work of Anri Sala. Around Time No Longer (2021), a video shown for the first time in France, presented on a huge curved screen that follows the cylinder, Anri Sala will occupy several spaces in the museum, with some of the most emblematic pieces of his work, from the Pinault Collection.
