Since the 19th century, photography has found its place in children's books, and many renowned photographers have contributed to their creation: Laure Albin-Guillot, Claude Cahun, Dominique Darbois, Robert Doisneau, Tana Hoban, André Kertész, Ergy Landau, Thérèse Le Prat, Annette Messager, Sarah Moon, Emmanuel Sougez and Ylla. Taking visitors on a journey through the pages of books published from the end of the 19th century to the present day, the exhibition Regarde! 150 ans de livres photos pour les enfants (Look! 150 years of children's photo books) will give visitors an insight into the wide variety of children's books that have marked several generations and shaped many a viewpoint.
