Screenlove explores the fragility of digital relationships while questioning our contemporary relationship to voyeurism. In the 1990s, as a teenager living on the top floor of his family home, Julien Mignot spent long hours observing his neighbors through the window. He now recognizes this formative practice as one of the sources of his curiosity and his unique perspective. Having become a renowned portrait photographer, he extends this fascination with intimacy by connecting, with their consent, to his subjects' webcams. There, he captures blurred images, fragments of lives altered by the mediation of the screen.
