Marine Peixoto is the winner of the 4th edition of the Le BAL / ADAGP young artists' prize.
The municipal street workout field in Parc de Bercy, in the 12th arrondissement of Paris, attracts a large number of athletes every day. Among them, Medhy, who is behind various projects and actions aimed at making the venue more than just a sports field, suggested in May 2020 that Marine Peixoto come and photograph. Her practice then took on the rhythm of the field, and just as some people do push-ups and pull-ups, Marine Peixoto conducted an intensive photo shoot.
The installation at BAL features over 200 prints.
