In a highly systematized and mediated reality, viewing is no longer a stable behavior. It no longer stems from a consciously chosen stance, but is constantly shifted, dismantled, and reassembled under the multiple influences of urban structures, social roles, technological mechanisms, and emotional experiences. Our position is neither a geographical coordinate nor merely a matter of identity, but rather a constantly changing condition of viewing.
"Location Undetermined" unfolds against this backdrop. The works presented in this exhibition come from a creative community that has long been engaged in viewing and photographic practice. Its members completed their respective photographic projects through continuous discussion, practice, and mutual response. The works do not originate from the same theme or style, but rather gradually emerge under a shared awareness of a problem, along different life experiences and photographic paths.
For these creators, photography is no longer merely a tool for recording the external world, but a way of repeatedly calibrating their own position —between reality and image, between personal experience and social structure, between the visible and the invisible. Viewing thus becomes a situational act: it carries hesitation, unease, and deviation, and also includes constant attempts at repositioning. The works do not present a definite stance, but rather the traces of viewing forced to adjust under the pressure of reality.
