George Eastman Museum presents 'Liz Deschenes: Frames per Second (Silent)', an exhibition exploring the intersections of photography, film, and technology.

Working with photographic media and their histories, Deschenes reconfigures the relationships between image, viewer, apparatus, and architecture, often inverting their roles. In conjunction with the museum’s 75th anniversary, she presents new works that examine how these media shape perceptions of time and color. As the artist explains, “Moving images become still objects, and still objects become moving images.”
