More than half of the works in the Pinault Collection, across all mediums, address the human figure. In its exhibition "Les yeux dans les yeux," presented at the Couvent des Jacobins in Rennes, in collaboration with the City of Rennes and Rennes Métropole, the Pinault Collection highlights over 90 faces immortalized by artists and photographers. Among them, Edward Steichen, ORLAN, and Annie Leibovitz each capture, in their own way, a range of gazes and attitudes, where tensions, trajectories, emotions, revolts, and feelings can be read.
