While institutions and other major international exhibitions of contemporary art are increasingly highlighting women artists, it is necessary to remember the invisibility they have suffered for centuries. The exhibition Les Résistantes brings together six women artists whose work bears witness to a feminist commitment. With a real freedom of creation, they assert themselves without fear of tackling subjects called 'feminine', in particular to fight against the violence and discrimination imposed by the patriarchy.
